Extension of First Home Buyer Conveyancing Rebate up to $1,000 for applications submitted by 31 December 2017
We’re pleased to extend the first home buyer conveyancing rebate to support customers buying a home for the first time.
Key Information:
- Upon request ANZ will reimburse conveyancing fees up to the value of $1,000 for first home buyer applications that meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be the recipient of a state First Home Owners Grant (FHOG) and/or stamp duty reduction
- Applicants must take out new lending FUM of at least $250k
- Applications must be submitted between July 1 2017 and 31 December 2017 and drawn by 31 March 2018
- Applicants are required to provide proof of conveyancing costs to the broker within 30 days of loan drawdown
- To process the rebate, post draw down of the eligible loan and sighting proof the conveyancing fees have been paid, submit the rebate form and available via the Broker Portal
- This offer is available for a limited time only and may be withdrawn or altered by ANZ at any time
Escalations
Any exceptions to the above eligibility criteria must be sought via your BDM and approved by Home Loans Product Support. Brokers should make reasonable enquiry to understand whether the customer is a first home buyer (i.e. ask customer and check for previous lending at ANZ) before seeking approval. An approval email from Home Loans Product Support must be submitted with the rebate form for all exceptions.
Inflight applications
Where customers have submitted an application before the 1st July 2017 and meet all other eligibility requirements, you may use the discretion provided the eligible loan draws before 31st March 2018.
